InRule Process Automation Version 2.90 and 2.91 Release Notes

March 2024

In the last month, we have released two new versions of Process Automation. These changes have introduced major structural improvements both to stability and performance. We expect the changes introduced in 2.90 and 2.91 to lead to improvements in response times and reductions in timeouts. Over time, these improvements may be noticeable to users.

Bug-fixes​

Some comments not showing for sub instances in List view​

Error​

In certain circumstances, the sub instance's comments were not displayed.

Fix​

The comment counter is now visible in these types of circumstances.

Values missing from a form in Task view after opening a PDF in Safari​

Error​

PDFs in the task view were opening in the same tab as the form, when users selected the browser's back button to return to the form, the form's fields appeared empty.

Fix​

PDFs in Task view now open in a new tab.

App Administrator unable to delete files in a content folder using API​

Error​

Application Administrators did not have permission to delete files in a content folder using API.

Fix​

Application Administrators now have permission to perform these types of API calls.

Wrong language appearing in hover text for some users​

Error​

The hover text in Process Studio was set to Swedish regardless of a user's language settings.

Fix​

The hover text in Process Studio now appears in the user's preferred language.

Excel export mixes up large numbers​

Error​

When exporting data from a List to Excel, some users noticed that the values containing many numbers were converted into different numbers.

Fix​

The correct values appear in the Excel export.

This release also contains additional minor bug fixes and security updates
